500 ml bottle from Brighton. Nice amber - beautiful to look at. Taste is fresh, a little bit acidic, dry. Nice white head. Good beer, but would like to have a little bit more nuances.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Pizd (61) - Merseyside, ENGLAND - APR 12, 2013
(Bottle): Pours a dark, clear amber with small white head. Aroma of citrus, floral and hints of caramel and sweet malt. A good bitterness to this ale, hoppy with the very prominent citrus tastes but theres a few undertones of malt and caramel in there. More complex than I expected and great for the price.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Nisse666 (3164) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 29, 2013

AR: buttery, hoppy, crisp bread
AP: golden clear, wee frothy transparent white head
F: fizzy, citrus, watery feeling, bready ... pretty boring stuff
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Theydon_Bois (2957) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2013
Bottle at Shanes house, from local offie in Englefield Green, 15/03/13.
Clear golden with a thin white head.
Nose is caramel, malt, sugar, light hops.
Taste follows, caramel, touch of dough, malt, barley.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation with a touch of spritz, light bitterness in the finish.
Ok - a safe bet I guess but a bit boring thus assuming the classic whelmed rating.

Bottle from a mate who left it behind in my bar fridge...probably from Sainsburys. Honey coloured pour with a white head. Citrus and caramel aroma. Sweet citrus flavour. Lots of malt in there. A splash of bitterness. Bitter finish.

Copper coloured bitter with lots of smooth tasting biscuit malts that make it nice in the palate. There’s some mild pale ale character to it too.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 flying_pig (617) - SCOTLAND - JAN 11, 2013
Bottle from Sainsbury’s (500ml for £1.99):
Sweet caramel malts and a rich, malty aroma at the start. There is some grain and yeast along with a sugary sweetness and some lemon/citrus too. There is a slightly metallic aroma and some bitterness as well.
Rich, golden amber colour with a thumb sized head on top. This is quite foamy looking and creamy with pretty good retention too with no reduction at all over the first few minutes.
Sweet malts, some burnt sugar and a toasted caramel taste kick things off. I could detect some bitter flavours, a little lemon and a biscuit like malty taste towards the end.
Quite light bodied, moderate carbonation and a lot of bitter notes in the mix. There is a slight citrus tang and this is an easy drinking beer that you could easily drink a couple of.
Nice looking but fairly average one with everything being fairly run of the mill and lacking adventure. It had some nice sweet malts touches in both the smell and the taste but that was about all it did have and it ran out of steam quite quickly.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 foolberry (48) - New Malden, Surrey, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2013
Don’t like this. The aroma is unpleasant - smells mildly like the fat deposits that get left in the pipes of a washing machine. Taste isn’t much to write home about. It’s too fizzy.
