On cask at Brigantes. Pours a very light golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of yeast, grassy hops, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with a dry finish. Moderate carbonation. Quite yeasty overall.

Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A golden beer with a white head and lace. A sweet beer. Diacetyl in the nose. Floral notes in the mouth. Quite perfumed. Lacking citrus or fruit, just sweet and a bit dull.

Cask conditioned at The Cask & Barrel, Edinburgh. Gold with white head. Simple straightforward, light golden ale, a biscuity body with some bready yeasty notes, hints of caramel and a boiled hop note. Basic.

[3291-20100804] Cask. Fishy grains aroma, not much there. Clear, medium orange body with quick off-white bubbles. Grainy alcohol flavour has light straw and grass notes. Medium body. Meh, not that interesting.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2010 Apple cider vinegar malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet lemon and apple cider vinegar malt flavor. Decent body - very unusual - never had an English beer this tart. Actually approaches the sourness of a Belgian sour.

2010-08-04. Crisp golden yellow, small foamy white head. 3+ Flavour is on the sweet side at first with light grainy malt, modest bitterness grows through the middle into the finish. Lingering sweet pale malt in the aftertaste. 5+ Mild aroma, kiss of yeast, mild grains, very light hops. Average plus palate. Cask at Ye Old Mitre, London

Cask. The Tan Hill Inn, Keld. Tight medium white head (sparkler), golden body. Citrus and biscuit, hops. Bitter. Dry finish, slight oiliness. Hazy body, not in good nick at all.

2nd May 2010. On tap at pub somewhere in Essex! Gold beer with a light haze. Light semi dry palate. Fresh and fruity. Zesty orange with a trace of tea. A litte grapefruit on the back of the tongue. Not bad at all. Refreshing and very drinkable.
