bierkoning (5989), La Tropica, Netherlands Feb 27, 2009 Bottle. Orange color. Flowery, yeasty, slightly vinous aroma with peach and citrus. Flowery flavor with butterscotch and a hint of citrus. Earthy yeasty aftertaste. Drinkable. dkachur (2318), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Feb 23, 2009 12 ounce bottle from somewhere. I assure you it came from somewhere. Pours a clear copper color with a medium head. Odd aroma of caramel, subtle grain and something that reminds me of wet cat. Taste is sweet candied citrus, grain and caramel. Kenbeer30 (41), Texas, USA Feb 23, 2009 This beer has a fun lable, but falls short of excellence in english ales. Smelled old. Perhaps it really WAS old. Poured watery, had a fair malty start, but an unusual, dry / old finish.
Fun Bottle - Bad Beer. njbfr (105), New Jersey, USA Feb 20, 2009 Run away! Run away! Seriously. Tastes how spray paint smells. Nice amber color but that’s about it. Ober (1165), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands Feb 12, 2009 A clear amber colored beer, with a great thick foamy head. The aroma of hops, with fruits. There are notes of grass. The taste is bitter, with a little dry. It’s fruity and there are touches of nutes. The aftertaste is dry bitter. tugg407 (12), Orlando, Florida, USA Feb 11, 2009 Very watery , very dry finish. I picked this up because of the label. and thats bout the best part of this beer. BroSpud (584), , Massachusetts, USA Feb 11, 2009 Not at all impressed. Hate to give such a low rating but really, this one is not good. Watery and even a little skunky. Not sure why they would put this one out there. 8/08 Brewbie (217), New York, USA Feb 9, 2009 bottle. cloudy gold, thin head. mild bitterness, citrus. didn’t really care for this one.
