chandler0201 (341), Durham, North Carolina, USA Feb 4, 2009 Aroma of malts and hops and some skunkiness. Malty flavor with small hint of citrus fruits. Disappointing. jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Jan 31, 2009 Amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma is of citrus, nuts and toast. Taste is slightly malty with some raisin and citrus. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA Jan 30, 2009 Clear light amber, thin white head. Malty nose and taste. Very mild and fairly unremarkable. Meh. hobbersr (393), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Jan 27, 2009 Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a fairly large white head that sticks to the glass. Aroma is of oranges, grapefruit, bitterness. Tastes of oranges, bitterness, honey, biscuity malt, a nutty/bitter finish. Watery and missing a mid-palate. This beer is OK, but not the best ESB I’ve had biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA Jan 21, 2009 This beer poured a clear golden yellow color with about a one finger white head that dissipated to a thin film across the top. The aroma was of fruit and also a bit yeasty. The flavor was a bit fruity, and was balanced by the hops. This just seemed to be lacking something. Okay, but forgettable.
ScoWRee (275), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 16, 2009 Pours a deep golden color with a big white foamy head. Aroma slight yeast and hops. Taste is spicy and hoppy. IAn OK ESB.. Not my thing though speedywinger (27), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jan 15, 2009 Bottle golden color. Bitter flavor. Made my wifes’ face go all funny. Hard to describe. Fruity. with some mild hops. Leaves an almost metallic dry feel in mouth. PaulHegedus (459), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada Jan 12, 2009 Bottle. Golden orange with a large fluffy head: grassy aroma with some butter. Nice carbonation. The flavour is a bit light, with a hint of raisin at the start leading to some grass and a light bitterness in the finish. Bring out your dead.
