johndoughty (2150), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Jun 27, 2008 Bottle.Yellow and clear with some bitterness. No carbonation and slightly bitter.Medium body. I am always aware of novelty beers.Perhaps if it had been labelled something else I would have scored it higher. RileyOBaba (33), , Ohio, USA Jun 25, 2008 ..a novelty beer...similar to but distinctly lower in quality than Black Sheep......still not bad on a hot day......................... georgekillian (184), USA Jun 19, 2008 This is a very bitter ale, goes very good with corned beef or pastrami. Not my favorite beer in the world but definetely worth a try DerBiermeister (503), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Jun 14, 2008 This is not a very good beer. It is disappointing and the-final-rip-off-ish. It is a novelty item and one that should only be tried once. Still better than some cheaper beers, but still, too bitter, bland, and boring. Too expensive, too. mybestfriend (261), Gothenburg, Sweden Jun 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a copper colour with a white head. Aroma is thin and boring with some malt. Flavour is boring - and watery - with some malty caramel and some boring bitterness. Some sweetness in the finish. Once again...boring. joekinty (263), rockledge, Florida, USA Jun 9, 2008 huge off white head honey caramel toasted malts apples and citrus
taste is malty bitter but lacking a little in balance jmw141 (134), Canton, Illinois, USA Jun 3, 2008 Bottle Pour. Apple cider color with a head that builds and never goes away. The lacing almost covered the entire backside of the glass. Aroma of apples and flowers. Taste reminds me of apple skins or maybe a slightly sour apple cider, but in a good way. Sweet up front with a very quick dry bitterness at the end. Good stuff. Worth $3. My first UK brew! Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA May 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden color with a thick white head. Has a European hop aroma and taste which im not fond of, makes it taste more like a german pilsner than a bitter. Not a very good bitter.
