Commercial Description:
Bottled - pasteurised.
Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

Bottle.Yellow and clear with some bitterness. No carbonation and slightly bitter.Medium body. I am always aware of novelty beers.Perhaps if it had been labelled something else I would have scored it higher.

This is a very bitter ale, goes very good with corned beef or pastrami. Not my favorite beer in the world but definetely worth a try

This is not a very good beer. It is disappointing and the-final-rip-off-ish. It is a novelty item and one that should only be tried once. Still better than some cheaper beers, but still, too bitter, bland, and boring. Too expensive, too.

Bottle. Pours a copper colour with a white head. Aroma is thin and boring with some malt. Flavour is boring - and watery - with some malty caramel and some boring bitterness. Some sweetness in the finish. Once again...boring.

Bottle Pour. Apple cider color with a head that builds and never goes away. The lacing almost covered the entire backside of the glass. Aroma of apples and flowers. Taste reminds me of apple skins or maybe a slightly sour apple cider, but in a good way. Sweet up front with a very quick dry bitterness at the end. Good stuff. Worth $3. My first UK brew!

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a thick white head. Has a European hop aroma and taste which im not fond of, makes it taste more like a german pilsner than a bitter. Not a very good bitter.
