| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Bottle Pour. Apple cider color with a head that builds and never goes away. The lacing almost covered the entire backside of the glass. Aroma of apples and flowers. Taste reminds me of apple skins or maybe a slightly sour apple cider, but in a good way. Sweet up front with a very quick dry bitterness at the end. Good stuff. Worth $3. My first UK brew! Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden color with a thick white head. Has a European hop aroma and taste which im not fond of, makes it taste more like a german pilsner than a bitter. Not a very good bitter. dchmela (1426), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 28, 2008 Tap at Churchills, Savannah. Nice amber pour with a thin white head. Creamy malty orange aroma. Taste is smooth malt with a slight hop bitterness and much more carbonated than I thought it would be. This would be a nice beer to try on cask. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 28, 2008 Aroma smells of skunked hops, grass clippings, not very appealing. The second pour allows for more malt body to come through. The appearance is rather ordinary with a very light tan translucent body, with a nice 1/2 inch thick white head. This brew is rather bitter initially, smoothing out into a more malt filled taste. The second taste is much more tasty, the malts come through with a sweeter more mellow taste. The beer feels to complicated initially, is it bitter, is it sweet, is it liquory. I love everything Python, but this will not be playing again on my taste buds.
