MaliMisho (208), East Meadow, New York, USA Apr 22, 2008 This beer was kind of plain. I would not refer to it as a holy ale, because I would not risk my life for this one. liinis (695), Helsinki, Finland Apr 22, 2008 Funny bottle. nice hops, there’snever too much though. I wouldn’t say it’s a bitter, more like a typical english ale with a bit more hops. DragonsHead (137), Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 20, 2008 not a bad esb.... thought it to be a pale ale though. not enough hops crisp
finish though JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia Apr 19, 2008 Pale black and tan, iced tea with a big yellowish-orange foam. Smells Sour. Taste bitter, like champagne. Disgusting. Pinball (2685), Allerød, Denmark Apr 19, 2008 bottle, supermarket. very nice. strong feel to the taste, even though the alc. is low. I was positively surprised. kidmartinek (972), austin, Texas, USA Apr 17, 2008 Pours clear amber with a big head that dissipates quickly. Excellent lacing. Very bitter aroma, you can smell from far away. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor has a good a mount of malt and hops, but too much bitterness, and I like ESBs. Finishes light and clean. This one is over the top. AdamGott (190), Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA Apr 15, 2008 very light copper brown pour with little to no head, nice aroma of fruity hops and pepper and a nice strongly bittered malty blended flavor. Nice average beer that is so good at being average that it is above average - does this make sense? TET (226), Finland Apr 12, 2008 Copper-brown beer with medium white head. Aroma is quite fresh: malts and some fruitfull hops. Flavour is strongly bitter and there are found malts and fruits. Carbonation is balanced and this is easy to drink but not watery. Monty Python’s Holy Grail is interesting and nice bitter.
