Commercial Description:
Bottled - pasteurised.
Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

Pours clear amber with a big head that dissipates quickly. Excellent lacing. Very bitter aroma, you can smell from far away. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor has a good a mount of malt and hops, but too much bitterness, and I like ESBs. Finishes light and clean. This one is over the top.

very light copper brown pour with little to no head, nice aroma of fruity hops and pepper and a nice strongly bittered malty blended flavor. Nice average beer that is so good at being average that it is above average - does this make sense?

Copper-brown beer with medium white head. Aroma is quite fresh: malts and some fruitfull hops. Flavour is strongly bitter and there are found malts and fruits. Carbonation is balanced and this is easy to drink but not watery. Monty Python’s Holy Grail is interesting and nice bitter.

pours an amber-yellow with medium white head. Unimpressive. Not as hoppy as others have described, at least not as I experienced it. At least the bottle will lok cool in my collection.

I really was not impressed with this ESB. Flavors were bitter and had a sour bit of hops. Poured light and was lacking strength and character.

Amber coloured beer pours with quite big, big bubbly, white head and forms a nice lacing. Aroma is a bit toffee malty. Flavor is sweety toffee malty and a bit butter in it with a little metallic aftertaste.

Bottle. Golden yellow with white head. Light body. Aroma is grassy and lightly fruity. Taste is well hopped with a dry grassy finish.
