robforbes (1083), Bremerton, Washington, USA Nov 23, 2007 purchased at puget sound wine cellar in port orchard, washington.
pours clear light copper-orangish with a medium size foamy egg-shell head, the head does not stay around that long.
smell of wine, some hops, earthiness.
taste is also wine-like, a little bit hoppy, leaves the mouth dry.
overall its okay, but nothing to write home about.
exadore (92), Sacramento, California, USA Nov 18, 2007 Bottle. Poured with a three finger high head, body a thin copper color, has a slight hoppy bite to it. I’m surprised how low this beer is rated for how good it is. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA Nov 16, 2007 Had this @ The Winking Lizard on Bethel while watching the Arizona Oregon game with my boys Spencer & Scott. Special thanks to Spencer for hooking me up with the sample for a rating. Nose of dried fruit, butterscotch, flowers and the smallest hint of alcohol. Pours a clover honey. The mostly lasting creamy white head leaves fair lace. The brew has a malty front, medium acidity in the middle, and a raisinish long bitter finish. The medium soft body is creamy with a dry feel to the finish. Very nice, I like! Hi - Five! Sorry you didn’t like it Spencer, I tried to warn ya!! AR (417), Georgia, USA Nov 15, 2007 A mild and light beer. Didn’t expect too much and I got what was expected. A very mild hop flavor. brew4fun (167), West Virginia, USA Nov 10, 2007 Pours cooper with thick off-white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy, with faint caramel malt. Taste is also grassy hops and medium dark malt. Moderate sweetness, but dry finish. Burning witches not detectable. Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Nov 9, 2007 Pours golden with long-lasting foamy head. Yeasty aroma. Flavor profile more skewed than the Ministry of Funny Walks, with possible notes of Dead Parrot. duffman462 (160), Gainesville, Florida, USA Nov 7, 2007 Amber colored beer with a lightly hoppy aroma. Rather soft caramel malts, mildly bitter. Rather sweet and syrupy, but not bad. SaintMatty (1197), Tallinn, Estonia Nov 5, 2007 Amber chestnut in colour with a hoppy, grassy aroma with a hint of freshly brewed tea. Fairly hoppy taste with light maltiness and some citrus tones. Pleasant aftertaste. Not bad at all.
