Aroma of sweet malts, with a noticeable hop presence. Taste of dates, prunes, and oranges -- definitely a sour tang. A tad nutty. The finish is dry and hoppy. On the full end of medium bodied. Interesting beer. yarry (370), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada

500ml bottle, 4.7% a/v
Pours a beautiful copper red colour with a nice tan head. Aroma is unusual, hops, roast.. i dont know how to explain the aroma. The taste is unusual as well, malty caramel, and definite alcohol taste, odd for such a low alc beer. Finish is almost like a red wine, very dry and earthy.. unusual.
Not bad, not great.

Appearance of amber/copper color, good head. Hits the mouth with with a slight caramel overtone with a medium malt body, finish of hops. Nice. BigMilly8 (375), Holiday, Florida, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 12, 2007 From bottle : Had at World of Beer in Tampa. Pours a amber color. I really thought this beer was horrible. Tasted very much of alcohol, yet has a very low ABV. Palate was bad, aftertaste bad, i just had a bad experience putting this liquid in my mouth. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2007 500 ml bottle. Light copper colour. Tall fine-laced off-white head that clings to the glass. Sweet-and-sour nutty aroma with rich malts. Earthy hops. Chocolate flavours balanced by caramel malts. Lots of flavour. Minty hops with an earthy flavour and a broad and dry finish. Nicely rounded. A classic English ale. Has more character than most other similar ales. I like it. saxo (3566), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Oct 10, 2007 draft- absolutely disgusting. For a beer of such low alcohol, how is it that all I tasted was fusels, and booze. Terrible. I paid 8 bucks for a pint of this in Vegas, only to leave 98 percent of the beer on the bar in protest. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2007 500ml bottle. Pours a nice golden-copper colour with a large beige head. The aroma is a little off, sort of bizarre, but I’ll just assume that’s the burned witches. The taste is more pleasant, nice caramel malts with a lot of nuttiness to it, followed by a dry, hoppy finish. Not a bad bitter, and I love the maketing gag.
