NJBeerman013 (768), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Mar 3, 2007 Bottle. By the way, Favorite Movie. Anyhow.. pours a copper color, with a rapidly fading head. Plenty of hops provinding quite the bitter kick. Its a very dry beer so the kick is swift and quick and fades quickly. Full mouthfeel makes this an enjoyable drink. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Mar 3, 2007 Updated: May 14, 2008How could one resist such a named beer. Its light ruby in colour, with a light malt fruit and a little bitter. We are the Knights who say "I’ll have a another" JDUB (170), Beautiful Venice Beach, California, USA Feb 26, 2007 lasting frothy head over clear copper pour. Really yeasty (that kind that would smell bad on its own but it’s objectionably acceptable in a beer) and a bit citrussy aroma. A wierd flavor combo of chocolate and lemons. TheBarGuy (2), Auckland, New Zealand does not count Feb 25, 2007 An interesting novelty brew. A nice full aroma which no offencive bitterness. A good colour, although not as Dark as I would have guessed. Good full bodied flavour. Overall, above average. Dsnutz (71), dallas, Texas, USA Feb 24, 2007 1pint 0.9oz. bottle pours a dark amber orange head, with a good light tan head. Overall it was a descent beer for the price, but I wish it was a little stronger. ekstedt (2411), Göteborg, Sweden Feb 23, 2007 Bottle. Golden amber color with medium off-white head. Plain malt aroma with earthy hops. Medium bodied. Very bitter flavour. This is the only character of this beer, bitterness, not anything more. mgermani (862), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Feb 16, 2007 Pours a golden amber with a great head. Nice roasty, hoppy aroma. Very interesting taste - starts out sweet, but then bitters and dries out nicely. There’s that ferric (blood, iron) taste again that seems to pop up from time to time in certain beers (La Maudite) but I suspect this is either a storage method or something in the hops I’m tasting. The hops are really well balanced against the malt. Great carbonation, body is light and almost creamy (although it could be that fantastic head meddling with the mouthfeel!) Nice beer. What is that iron I’m tasting? No matter, this is a real beer, and an excellent example of a bitter. Ridedom33 (37), Valdosta, Georgia, USA Feb 12, 2007 Wow. very surprising brew. i was surprised at the first taste. Great palate! Sweet up front and super dry ending. Nice balance!
