| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 11, 2007 Aroma of floral/citrus hop. Light amber color with a white head that didn’t stay long. Starts with fruit; stone fruit; maybe some kiwi berry. Followed by malt, and getting balancing hop in at the finish. Finishes quite dry. Really complex interplay of components. Firm mouthfeel that hardly thins at all. Aroma is pleasing. Flavor is another story. Very bitter with a strong alcohol taste. NJBeerman013 (771), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

Plenty of hops provinding quite the bitter kick. Its a very dry beer so the kick is swift and quick and fades quickly. Full mouthfeel makes this an enjoyable drink. cgarvieuk (4171), Edinburgh, Scotland

Really yeasty (that kind that would smell bad on its own but it’s objectionably acceptable in a beer) and a bit citrussy aroma. A wierd flavor combo of chocolate and lemons. A nice full aroma which no offencive bitterness. A good colour, although not as Dark as I would have guessed. Good full bodied flavour. Overall, above average. Dsnutz (71), dallas, Texas, USA
