thornecb (1737), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Dec 31, 2006 Pours medium amber into an English pint. Soapy head is quite nasty to behold. Sour sweet with a bitter finish. Points for Python. HarmonKill-a-Brew (316), Wilmar, Arkansas, USA Dec 24, 2006 Bitter and malty... good balance. Dark bronze/copper in color. Good beer... I have really become a fan of this style over time. hammerbeck (101), Kentucky, USA Dec 23, 2006 Very nice English bitter ale. The color is perfectly bronzy, and the head sticks around just long enough. Very flavorful. sliffy (1966), Columbus, Ohio, USA Dec 15, 2006 On tap @ Ashley’s: Copper with an off white head. Aroma, caramel, pale malts and yeast. Flavor, yeasty, some spicy hops, and floral notes as well, pale malts. So so. taunusmies (276), Finland Dec 10, 2006 Pours a light amber colour. Aroma has hops and a bit of lemon. Taste was nicely bitter, but left somehow thin impression. Maybe I was expecting more from this beer. Label of the bottle is funny. WSSmiles (124), Columbus, Ohio, USA Dec 9, 2006 Bottle with an appearence of cloudy apple cider with a creamy head. Everything with this one was so-so. Not impressed. POD (198), USA Dec 9, 2006 Cool Monthy Python Bottle. Poured golden brown with a big puffy white head. Corny aroma. A nice dry bitter ale with a sharp crisp bitter after byte. Average overall. I’d drink it again if it was on sale.
