| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 1, 2007 It seems to me that 90 percent of the beers I try in Canada are sweet, so maybe they import only sweet beers from England or something. So anyway, the beer is reddish amber. Smells all caramel and malty. The beer itself is all sweet, then has a coffee finish. Little spicy taste on the side. I don’t know if this is really an ESB... no bitterness or anything. Quite a good brew overall though. Airlifter (116), Shawnee, Kansas, USA

Hoppy flavor, with metal and grapefruit. Has a pleasant wheaty, yeasty sweetness. Alcohol bite at the end, stronger as the beer warmed. thornecb (1751), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
