Commercial Description:
Bottled - pasteurised.
Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

Brownish red color. Nose of malt and some citrus. A bit hoppy with a clean, dry malt flavor. Nice finish.

Nice aroma of malts and fruits. Very nice a drinkable beer, due to smooth/crisp feel when drinking. It did leave a nice bitter taste, that left me wanting more. I will drink this beer again.

Aroma is malty, and hints of fruit. Flavor is low malts, faint fruits. bitter, but not overly so. Nothing to get excited about here. Just another english bitter. It was a kick ass movie though.

1 pint 0.9 oz bottle. Poured a light ruby/brown color with a thick, frothy head. Aroma was distinct of malt and the taste was very good, despite the "average" rating on here. It was well-rounded and crisp at first with hints of hops and finished smooth and left a clean finish on the palate. Definately an enjoyable beer.

Pours copper w/ a shallow spritzy froth. Aroma of sharp malt. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Crisp and dry malt. Bitter upfront and thru to the finish. Not much going on here. Kinda hollow. As it warms more fruit flavors appear but are rendered indistinguishable.

Bottle. Looks like a lager! Very good aroma. Smokey whisky notes, flowers and perfume. In one beer! The taste has a good balance, but gets lowered because it could be a bit stronger. Feels good on the palate, an extremely enjoyable beer.
