Aroma was distinct of malt and the taste was very good, despite the "average" rating on here. It was well-rounded and crisp at first with hints of hops and finished smooth and left a clean finish on the palate. Definately an enjoyable beer. GreatLibations (1441), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 11, 2006 Pours copper w/ a shallow spritzy froth. Aroma of sharp malt. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Crisp and dry malt. Bitter upfront and thru to the finish. Not much going on here. Kinda hollow. As it warms more fruit flavors appear but are rendered indistinguishable. Tranquillity (1165), Espoo, Finland
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2006 Bottle. Looks like a lager! Very good aroma. Smokey whisky notes, flowers and perfume. In one beer! The taste has a good balance, but gets lowered because it could be a bit stronger. Feels good on the palate, an extremely enjoyable beer. Nicko (190), Ashfield, Australia
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 8, 2006 Good initial head, tiny bubbles, smells almost a little like vanilla essence. Maple syrup colour. Sweet on the lips and bitter on the tongue. Very smooth. bigcat03 (191), Lincoln, Nebraska, USA

Nothing incredibly special, but not bad by any mean. Of course I love the bottle, but who wouldn’t? tronraner (1911), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 4, 2006 Draught. Pours hazy orange with soapy white head. The aroma is cidery with some bark and zest. The flavor is apples, a lot of grassy hops, and some strange organic bitterness. The finish is unpleasantly gritty. Good for novelty value, but little else. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 4, 2006 Of course I picked up this bottle simply for the novelty factor and I would have expected it to be utter swill if others hadn’t told me that it actually isn’t terrible. They were right, it’s not terrible - it’s not great either, but it isn’t bad. This poured a nice copper colour with a small amount of head. Tasted quite fruity actually, not really that far off from apple juice in many respects. Every sip reminded me of apple juice. The finish had a subtle bitterness to round it out some. Not bad, but not that special either...except for the label and name. CanadaCam (109), Canada
