hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden May 29, 2006 Dark golden with a thick, frothy white head. Malt and caramel in aroma with notes of alcohol. Acidic, bready, slight bitter flavour. Cardboard-ish finish. rane (493), Nibe, Denmark May 26, 2006 Nice ale. Big head and light amber colour. Taste of hops and a little bitterness, but not as much as expected in an ESB FezMonkey (268), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA May 22, 2006 On tap at Freakin Frog. Light amber with a white head. A little bit of a creamy smell as well. Maybe a few hops. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Flavor seems rather full. Alot of roasted maltiness. Tasty little brew here. Aubrey (2773), Denver, Colorado, USA May 13, 2006 Interesting light orange hue with a nice and foamy head. Light but smooth body with a fizzy carbonation. Zingy and refreshing throughout, with notes of spritzy lemon, light flowers and a nip of yeast. Somewhat metallic. Adequate bitterness. Decent session ale, or should I say "ail," but not great. Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA May 13, 2006 1 pint and 0.9 fl. oz. (Tempered over burning witches) Light copper color with tall creamy off white head. Very light aroma. What aroma there is is mostly malt and a hint of yeast. First taste is sweet lightly roasted malts and a bit of tin. I guess that might be coming from the yeast. Next sips were more of the grainy malt and then a bit of hop flavor with sour yeast. The aftertaste continued with the grain malt flavor along with a little bittering hops. Nice tasting beer. I enjoyed it. konair1 (64), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 13, 2006 Beer at the Pier. I liked this beer. Hazy orange-yellowish color. Taste is of caramel and hops. A very good beer. mj (4973), Colorado, USA May 9, 2006 Slightly cloudy burnt orange color with minimal head. Smells a little spoiled, like old batteries and unused motor oil, with a straw/grain/bottle aroma in there as well, that’s more punchy and chemical-like that it should be. Very poor tasting, some chemical caramel and honey malt flavors, very "bottle" tasting. trafford (171), Germantown, Tennessee, USA May 8, 2006 I has a tough time calling this a "Bitter". It was more in the range of Sam Adams than tradtional bitters. But my favorites beer is stout, nooooo I mean alllllllllle
