Commercial Description:
Bottled - pasteurised.
Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

16.9oz: Pours an amber brown color, small/medium sized head, good sized bubbles, good lacing, diminishing. Very malty aroma, some hops, nutty earthy. Malty, dry bitter taste, lightly acidic, metallic aftertaste.

500mL bottle. Light amber with a small white head. Ruddy sweet malt and some herbal hoppiness in the aroma. Caramel malt flavors, rather sweet. Slightly spicy hop component in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium light, somewhat dry.

Bouteille, 500 ml, expiry date: Jun 06; eye: amber with orangey reflections, good white head that disappears in the norm, some lacing on the glass; nose: malt presents a hint of caramel, hops shows its grassy side while the yeast showed its earthy face; taste: medium body, surprisingly no taste at first up until the malt kicks in and a finale all in its hoppy bitterness FRANÇAIS Bouteille, 500 ml, date d’expiration : Jun 06; oeil : ambré avec reflets orangés, bonne mousse blanche qui disparaît dans la norme, bonne dentelle; nez : malt avec un côté caramel, houblon avec un côté céréale, levure avec un côté terre; bouche : corps moyen, commence sans goût, suivi de malt et une finale en amertume

Bottled. Pours amber with a thick head and a fruity aroma. It’s a good medium bodied ale that is a little dry, but with a fruitiness that linders. I enjoyed this one.

Got this in the pint bottle. Aroma was of plesant fruit. Flavor was also of fruit with a good mix of bitter. Reminded me of something i could not quite put my finger on. On the whole, a very drinkable beer.
