StueyD (590), King’s Lynn, Norfolk, Norfolk, England Mar 6, 2006 A light golden brown beer, a thick white head and very effevescent. A malty nose with hints of sweetness and caramel. A dry bitter hoppiness lingers long in the flavour with hints of sweetness again. jephavn (9), Denmark does not count Mar 6, 2006 Well, a very funny idea. If only the beer was as good as Monty Python. Boring aroma, an okay taste, but the beer works best on the shelf with the rest of the beer collection.. deathrag (7), H’burg, Virginia, USA does not count Mar 1, 2006 Sorry...the ale really wasnt that good..prob....only a 3 at the most..but its MONTY PYTHON....lol...so have to give them at least at 3.6....i mean its tempered over burning witches. turg (156), Quebec, Canada Feb 27, 2006 Bottle 500ml. Appearance: amber with a white head. Aroma: toffee malt, fruity hop. Flavor: toffee malts. beanwiggin (22), California, USA Feb 15, 2006 more of a novelty beer. fun to have at a part if you appreciate python and not all that bad to drink as far as flavor. henry3r (586), Wichita, Kansas, USA Feb 13, 2006 The bottle poured a slightly hazy amber beverage with a smooth, creamy white head that was mostly lasting and that left nice lacing on the rim of the glass. The aromas were a bit complex with the first impressions being of slightly sour citris fruitiness (if that makes any sense). Lurking in the background there are notes of grass or hay. The body was medium to light with lively carbonation and the texture was a bit watery. The initial flavor is moderately bitter which fades rather quickly. The finish is a bit short and slightly astringent. theatrus (1), USA does not count Feb 13, 2006 Bottle. Amber color, frothy head. Dry and bitter. Not ultra exiting, but relaxing. Expensive for the quality. glkaiser (1150), Seattle, Washington, USA Feb 12, 2006 $3.49 at Bottleworks. I’ll admit I bought this just for the name....not bad though. Golden color, good head. Found it to be fairly bitter with not much hop presence. OK, but would not recommend for the price.
