JRHBrew (217), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Feb 2, 2006 Just be thrilled this beer doesn’t suck. I figured it would be the worst from the brewery (and perhaps it is) but it is great. You get a chuckle outta some people that see you pouring it. Bilzmoude (19), Ferndale, Michigan, USA Jan 25, 2006 Smells a bit like a budweiser... an american lager. Nice, thick, creamy head that really sticks around. Super bitter. I like bitter, but this is orange-rind bitter. I is difficult to swallow. I really do not like this beer. leaparsons (4659), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Jan 25, 2006 Bottle. Amber, like tea, with a small head. Aromas are tea, apple and toffee malts. Fairly dry. Flavours are toffee malts with dry tea and pear. Dry and clean on the finish. OK, if a bit boring. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 24, 2006 Bottled. Golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is dominated by a fruity unpleasant pine-apple smell. Maybe it is because it is just one week before BB-date? I have tasted this before, but can’t remember the profile of it, so I guess I’ll have to put it on my re-rate list. Ok flavor of fruits, mostly pine-apple, and pines. Resin-bitter and light fruity finish. (060124) awebster (165), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jan 18, 2006 A decent beer. Malt tastes won out over the hops. Goldish color, fruity nose. Finishes clean. vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia Jan 6, 2006 30 Sep 05 - Light malt and hoppy aroma. Clear amber brown colour, good yellow head with suds lacing. Nice pleasant hoppy malt flavour. Light bitter hop dry finish, but is a bit thin. ATOmemphis (200), Franklin, Tennessee, USA Jan 6, 2006 Bitter with a good head. Easy to drink, fruity aroma. Pricey for what you get. onystrom (741), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark Jan 6, 2006 Beautiful clear amber color with fine head. Taste like a very bitter pilsner.
