Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

Do people buy this beer for anything but the name? Even by English Bitter standards, this is mild. Light and not particularly crisp. Hay, grass, and limited sweetness.

"Hmmm. This one has biscuit malt as well (and yeast) up front. Fruity hops are slight, as is some caramel. Otherwise pretty ho hum. Like the name, beer is a bit underwhelming."
