COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled - pasteurised.
Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

The aroma is very light hoppy with notes of grass. The color is amber and it has a fine beige head. The flavor is of sweet malt and ends on a rather bitter and grassy not. A nice bitter ale.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a slowly collapsing bubbly white head. Vague aroma of some hops and a mild malt almost mouldy note. Flavour is mainly bitter hops with a very minor fruity note. Light sweetness before the finish followed by a dry and bitter finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Orangey golden, close to amber, slightly hazy with a decent head. Some typical notes of fruit and caramel with a distinct bitterness. But basically just another standard Bitter without too much personality - despite the odd name. 270405

Bottled. Copper coloured with huge white foamy head, leaves much longlasting lacing. Maltish and fruitish aroma. Very sour/bitter citric flavour. A bit sweetish finish and aftertaste. I find this one a bit boring, though I am a huge Monty Python fan.

[Bottled at East End Brewery, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong] Amber coloured, small fluffy head. Sweetish with evident carmelly malt and some hay-like hops. Fairly light bodied with soft mouthfeel and careful salty bitterness. Not as mad as you might think...

Golden colour with an off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of fruit, caramel and hops. Malty flavour with notes of fruit and a nice bitter finish.

Orange colour with white head. Has a little fruity aroma. Malty flavor and fruity, some caramel too. Hoppy mouthfeel with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Monty Python is funnier than this beer.

Golden color, beautiful head. Dry aroma, ordinary, with some hop. Average malt flavor, just a better hop; quite strong bitterness at the end, with a good aromatic hopping.

Bottle. Bitter and slightly aromatic. Pretty standard bottled bitter.
