Ungstrup (14724), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 5, 2003 The aroma is very light hoppy with notes of grass. The color is amber and it has a fine beige head. The flavor is of sweet malt and ends on a rather bitter and grassy not. A nice bitter ale. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 15, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Orangey golden, close to amber, slightly hazy with a decent head. Some typical notes of fruit and caramel with a distinct bitterness. But basically just another standard Bitter without too much personality - despite the odd name. 270405 omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 1, 2006 [Bottled at East End Brewery, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong] Amber coloured, small fluffy head. Sweetish with evident carmelly malt and some hay-like hops. Fairly light bodied with soft mouthfeel and careful salty bitterness. Not as mad as you might think... yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 12, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a slowly collapsing bubbly white head. Vague aroma of some hops and a mild malt almost mouldy note. Flavour is mainly bitter hops with a very minor fruity note. Light sweetness before the finish followed by a dry and bitter finish. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Sep 20, 2006 Bottle. A light amber color. Big head. Malt and caramel in aroma with notes of alcohol. Taste of hops and a little bitterness. oh6gdx (8795), Vasa, Finland Mar 13, 2005 Bottled. Copper coloured with huge white foamy head, leaves much longlasting lacing. Maltish and fruitish aroma. Very sour/bitter citric flavour. A bit sweetish finish and aftertaste. I find this one a bit boring, though I am a huge Monty Python fan. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark May 27, 2004 Bottle. Bitter and slightly aromatic. Pretty standard bottled bitter. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 14, 2005 Golden colour with an off-white head.
