Commercial Description:
Bottled - pasteurised.
Another fine addition to the Black Sheep Brewery range of premium bottled ales, our Holy Grail Bitter was specially commissioned to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Monty Python. It has a distinctive taste with plenty of fruity hops, and is full flavoured with a dry and refreshing bitterness.

Bottle. Orange color. Flowery, yeasty, slightly vinous aroma with peach and citrus. Flowery flavor with butterscotch and a hint of citrus. Earthy yeasty aftertaste. Drinkable.

A Mes rate: Bottle thanks to Reakt.
Golden blonde with a reasonable, lasting almost white head. You know what? This isn’t that bad. Good earthy malt base with a decent piney hop topping. Fruity notes are decent, bitterness is good, clean dry finish and very downable. Possibly a little under rated.

Bottle, bought @ Vinspecialisten, Kolding Storcenter.
Pours amber with a small, creamy, white head. Aroma er mild caramel, a bit of fruitiness and good grassy and flowery hoppiness. Low carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, some good peachy fruitiness and a mild chocolate and hoppy bitter finish. Quite alright.

(Bottle) Pours a clear orange body with a huge rocky (root beer float-like) off-white head. Aroma of straw and sweet malt. Sweet malt and spoiled fruit flavor.

Amber coloured with little carbonation. Long lasting 2 cm foam that sticks well to the glass. Herbal aroma, slightly hoppy. Very light overall, caramelic malt, slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium body and comfortable mouthfeel, smooth, almost chewy.

better than expected, grassy hops, but some fruit hitting in there too. taste is general good stuff too, keeps head well from bottle, and just alround session beer i suppose.

Hilarious bottle. Great theme! Crystal clear golden ale with a large, fizzy, quickly diminishing off-white head. Decent lacing The aroma is of sweat, clover honey, English toffee, grass... earthy and sweet, but not cloyingly so. Very well-balanced beer. Malty up front. Lightly bitter and tart on the backside. Unfortunately, there's very little actual flavor. Points for balance, though. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, dry finish with clover and straw at the far end. Hey! Really, Really cool theme!

Pours a clear copper bronze with a frothy, lightly-lacing off-white head. Aroma has a mildly sweet maltiness and some grassy, citrusy English hops. Body starts with a semi-full, but dry earthy malty character and bitter Fuggles hoppiness. Overall, bland, over-carbonated, and very average.
