Sweet malt nose, cookie, faintly floral, faintly funk/yeasty. I feel this is quite enjoyable. Sweet caramel, apple, cookie, medium body, smooth mouthfeel, finishing with balancing hops. A nice quaffable brew. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2006 (Bottle) Pours a light amber with a small, but long-lived head. Not as bitter as I expected, and especially not bitter enough to be an ESB. Sweet malty notes with some hops in the aftertaste. Drinkable, clean and refreshing. dm9831 (1168), Monee, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2008 pours hazy copper with a quickly dissipating head. lots of lace sticks to the side of the glass. delicious aroma of citrus and pine. not a huge hit, but the hops in the taste took me by (pleasant) surprise. there are dried fruit notes in the taste. the finish is dry, and slightly bitter. I wish i had bought another bottle of this. the witches did not die in vain producing this beverage. OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 7, 2004 500 ml bottle. Orange colour with a frothy off-white head. Odd (due to the brown bottle) lightly skunky aroma to start, then caramel and bread. Caramel and bread flavours with a perfumed bitter finish. Light acidity surrounds it all. Medium bodied and dry. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jan 14, 2008 Pours a medium amber with a big head that is quickly gone. Aromas of caramel and roasted nuttiness, also some yeast detected. Flavor was not so great. Seemed overly bitter, for a beer with this light of a palate. I tried it for the name, but probably wouldn’t drink it again. gws57 (1151), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 31, 2005 Had this one bottled. Cool name but not much else going on here. Slightly bitter but not too hoppy, interesting malts, but overall a pretty bland beer. Cartoonkhaki (1150), Brantford, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 30, 2003 Say no more, say no more... Clear, brownish gold (copper) pillowy beige head. Head lasts for awhile. Mildewy aroma like a hot shower. Hop, malt aroma. Flowery and quite mild at that. Dry hop flavour with mild bitters that hit the sides of my tounge almost the back of it. Decent but it doesn't turn me in to a Scholshtershagle nor make me a bugger for a bottle... I say nih....nih.... Ah, decent none-the-less..
