murawski (158), USA Oct 1, 2006 Please don’t even bother with this one -- Monty Python fan or not. I thought that it tasted like prunes (no fooling), with a horrific aftertaste. If your quest crosses this "ale," take a pass.
On goûte des saveurs de caramel et de houblon un peu amer. ericandersnavy (154), denton, Texas, USA Oct 10, 2008 bottle picked up at metzlers in denton, tx. poured a clear gold with a thick white head. this beer looked awesome. the head stayed with it and it laced the glass all the way to the bottom. aroma was sweet with malt and fruity notes. flavor was malty, fruity, and had a nice dry bitterness to finish it off. wish the mouthfeel was a little heavier though. overall a nice beer i would drink again. espenra (126), Oslo, Norway Oct 7, 2008 50cl bottle from ICA. It poured a slightly pale yellow colour with a big white creamy head that settled down slowly in the glass. The aroma smells of hops, pears and a hint of citrus fruits. The flavour is bitter and tastes of malts, and citrus fruits. It has a medium long aftertaste. At first I thought this was just another gimmick beer, but I was pleasantly suprised by both the aroma and the flavour. joebudzjoe (114), Connecticut, USA Oct 4, 2008 Draft @ Monster B’s. This beer kinda grossed me out. Thinly flavored but the palate felt slightly poisonous. I paid for it, so I finished it. blipp (818), Grand Island, New York, USA Oct 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with an off white head. Wheaty aroma with cherry and lemongrass. The flavor is sweet and fruity, almost cherry. Nice.
