OD40oz (413), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA Apr 9, 2006 I found this at World Market just outside of Green Bay. This was a great tasting ale. It had a nice hoppy nose to it and a nice bitter taste. I would buy this again anyday of the week, not to mention it’s named after a great movie. Ingevara (468), Hindås, Sweden Jan 18, 2002 Holy grail! This is a nice beer, a great ale and something to sit and enjoy with good company. ultraspank (856), Dublin, Ohio, USA Nov 16, 2007 Had this @ The Winking Lizard on Bethel while watching the Arizona Oregon game with my boys Spencer & Scott. Special thanks to Spencer for hooking me up with the sample for a rating. Nose of dried fruit, butterscotch, flowers and the smallest hint of alcohol. Pours a clover honey. The mostly lasting creamy white head leaves fair lace. The brew has a malty front, medium acidity in the middle, and a raisinish long bitter finish. The medium soft body is creamy with a dry feel to the finish. Very nice, I like! Hi - Five! Sorry you didn’t like it Spencer, I tried to warn ya!! LordNeuf (125), Acton, Massachusetts, USA Aug 6, 2002 I am not sure why, but novelty beers tend to be some of the best creations ever made by brewing companies. This is no exception. The Aroma is slightly fruity, with a mellowness in the flavor and a crisp hoppy finish. A very good example of an English Bitter. HazelRah (276), Summerland, British Columbia, Canada Dec 7, 2006 Lemony, fruity aroma. Flavour complex and balanced ranging from overripe apricots and a wide swathe of malt notes to a heartily bitter finish.
