The taste was o.k. for your everyday kind of beer but nothing special. Mild hops a bit tart and a dry finish. Oh and by the way your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries. brewshthereen (316), Oregon, USA

As classic as the comedy film is, this beer carrying the same name is somewhat of a flop. I don’t know if it was the journey across the atlantic but this tasted stale, Dusty, and well...old. Somewhat bready, with a very dry finish. Disappointing. Just go pop the movie in the dvd player and watch it while enjoying a different beer. And don’t forget the corn nuts! I mean it is not awful, but nothing great. Slight skunk in this. cbkschubert (2030), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

Faint spotty lacing. Aroma is light malt and herbal hops. Flavor has a lingering hop bitterness. I have a hard time rating these Bitters. Glad I live in the land of West Coast IPA’s. By the way, this is a decent beer. Thanks again Steve. bubbleflubber (903), Collinsville, Virginia, USA

A basic light caramel nose. A caramel-hop flavor is predominate, with a sharp, citrus twang to cap the pull. It lacks complexity, but certainly has the characteristics of an ESB. Follows suit with a lingering bitter finish. A bit unilateral for my tastes, relying on singular bitters for the primary effect, but much better than any macro. A decent combination of sweet malt, toffee, citrus and bitterness to this style makes for a decent brew, nonetheless. KUEric (635), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA

Orange in color with a frothy off-white head that continued to lace the glass as I drank, this had a grassy aroma with fruity hints. Not much body as I drank, but the taste wasn’t bad. Light malt flavors, but the hopping came through. Kind of a dry, bitter finish. Spam. Spam. Spam. dornoy (681), Lyngby, Denmark
