1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 beerdedbastard (22) - Willoughby, USA - JAN 19, 2003
This was a Drain pour.
First, I did buy it for the Label(Monty Python fan)and the visions it created by claiming it was "Tempered over witches"(what ever that means?)
Well, they MUSTA been a BAD batch of witches, because this just didn't work here!
Started fine, with a highly carbonated pour and frothy head, but yeiled only a slight hint of flora. Medium golden color with huge bubbles of carbonation. Possibly THE largest I have ever seen!
Flavor yeilded no more than the aroma.
Most Notably I noticed a very Chalky mouthfeel and After-taste. I have never tasted this before...May be due to over-use of Brewing Salts?
I hope THIS isn't a comment on the "Dry-Chalky" humor of the Circus!
And I'm certain they had little to do with this over-all Horrible beer.
"...Bring out your Dead...I'm NOT DEAD!"
This Brew coulda used that big foot stomping it out before it left the Brewery.
Sadly...This is my 1st Drain Pour in recent memory.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 berrya785 (116) - Kansas, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Aroma is malts and a little hops. Pours dark gold with a big white head. Taste is sweet and malty. Not bad.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 visionthing (532) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 24, 2012
Bottle from Ica Nær, Årvoll. Golden with an off-white head. Lightly hoppy aroma with malt and a hint of fruit and caramel. Less sweet than expected with some bitterness. Ok ale, but not exciting.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 bshep (28) - - MAY 24, 2012
I would suggest avoiding this. It looks cool because of "Monty Python" but it is very watery, and weak.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 rumproasts (185) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 23, 2012
amber with small head. i’m not quite sure what this beer is trying to be. it’s somewhat of a mess of flavors and just seemingly off. not that i expected a monty python beer to be excellent or anything...
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 odinstyr (177) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 23, 2012
Pours a ruby brown with a 4-finger head. Smells of hay, citrus. Taste is mildly sweet, moderately bitter - chocolate and hops.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JCM3 (2) - Maine, USA - MAY 21, 2012 does not count
Picked a six pack of this up the other night and found it very enjoyable. Although not classified as a summer ale the lightness of this beer make it a very good choice after a hot summer day.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 FudgeSociety2 (276) - Florida, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Not that bad really. Just really standard and lacking in excitement. Strangely, it tastes like it has more alcohol than it actually does.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 keepersj12 (1811) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Not as bad as some would suggest. A nice looking amber with a small head. The aroma is all malt with a little caramel and toffee. The flavor has the malt and caramel, just a bit of hops to balance. A bit on the thin side. All in all, a decent beer.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 jandd1983 (928) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAY 16, 2012
It poured a clear amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of malts and some floral notes. The taste was bready malts at first, followed by some sour grassy and somewhat funky bitter.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beernovice39 (2088) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 9, 2012
