punainen6 (64), Finland Jul 8, 2008 0,5l bottle .White thick head, brown copper color, really hard to distinct anything particular on the smell, quite neutral. Taste is gently bitter but abit bland, propably drinking this abit too cold. Overall not bad but there’s lots of better choices for similar experience.
esox (93), Oulu, Finland Aug 21, 2008 Bottled. Clean, light orange. Thin but creamy head is white. Ok lacing. Aroma is malty, a bit fruity (grape, orange) and has also some berries in the finish. Caramel malts and medium hops in the finish. Flavor is sweetish caramel and in the finish softly bitter. Dries up towards the finish. Quite smoot texture but stil a bit too carbonated and foaming. Medium bodied. Easy to drink. roder_60 (871), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours dark orange color with nice layer of froathy bubbly head. Aroma is weak - a bit sweet grass and floral. Flavor is light, thin and watery but with some sweet maltiness and a bitter dry hop finish, though very very mild. Overall, ok for hot day, but overall, nothing special. drjay44 (104), USA Aug 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a largish head, which slowly deflates, no lacing, mild slightly hoppy nose, initial taste sweetish, later pleasant hop bitterness. Not much to it. crazyvin (1072), New York, USA Aug 18, 2008 A nice golden-brown hue with a white head. A nice wood-like or earth aroma to it. A great hop profile on the flavor. A decent mix of bittering hops and floral hops. Finish was crisp. Angeloregon (1829), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 18, 2008 From a small bottle purchased at Johns Market Place--Poured a deep amber-copper hue with a thick white head. Nose of cardboard and caramel malts with some spicy hops. Flavor of sweet honey and earthy nuttiness. Hard to drink. Sweet and something off. Disappointed that Monty Python’s name was associated with this drab beer.
