Dark amber brown with minimal head. Smells a tad malty and roasted. Tastes a bit fruity and malty, strange combo, but seems to work. Again you get that roasted malts taste. It does have a dry and slightly bitter finish.

Jun 3, 2008 (England) This ale has a dark amber color with a med-white head. The aroma is of berries, roasted nuts, and caramel. This brew has a flavor of dark fruit / coffee / spices / and a slight dry finish, There is some nice lacing too !!! Overall i feel this very refreshing and worth a try.

May 26, 2008 Pours chestnut brown with a nice, vreamy beige head. Aroma of roasted nuts, toast, and dried apricots. Flavor isn’t as rich as the aroma suggests. Slightlty toasty, with a subtle fruitiness. Mildly bitter, dry finish. Somewhat thin.
