I really like this. Aroma is all caramel. Taste is deliciously balanced: bitter and yeast, more caramel. Rounded. Very very like the standard Black Sheep, but I think nicer. Will buy again. Nice surprise.

Bottle - amber with a bubbly light brown head which gradually fades to a ring. Aroma of grassy hops and fruits. Taste of grassy hops, earth, fruit and malts - light sweetness, light bitterness and slightly alcoholic tasting. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Bottle – As Sainsburys Yorkshire Bitter - Orangey Gold in colour. Malty; sweet biscuity malts, demerara sugar. Fruity; some citrus fruit. Hoppy; whole flower hops. Good malt/fruit/hop balance. Bittersweet malty fruity throughout with a dry finish. Eay drinking.

Bottle labelled as Sainsburys TTD Yorkshire bitter. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Sweetish, malty aroma. Tastes malty, fruity, slightly hoppy. This was surprisingly good.

500ml bottle, pours golden brown with a small head. Deep malty caramel and biscuit in the aroma, with spicy citrus and banana balancing the malts. The finish is long and bitter. The palate is rich and thick, average carbonation. Good.

Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body. Fruity earthy nutty aroma with meaty caramelly notes. Dry-sweet earthy caramelly meaty taste with fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity meaty resiny aftertaste with caramelly notes. Nice, but way too meaty. (0.5l bottle, from House of Trembling Madness, York.)

Bottle bought as alias Sainsbury’s Yorkshire Bitter. Nice aroma, biscuits and floral. Pours copper with a fairly tight head. Fairly strong malt and biscuit flavours, floral notes, a little honey and a good amount of bitterness, though could have done with a little more in my opinion. Otherwise good.

Golden amber with a lasting white head. Bready aroma. Biscuity flavor with a very dry, strong bitterness. Again, more cahones than 5%. Aftertaste is nice and bitter and strong.
