COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich and malty, Double Dee complements our High Esteem with a modest bump of malt presence, alcohol, and residual sweetness. Brewed with an addition of kettle sugar, the flavor is toasty and nutty with a hint of raisins, and is balanced by an herbal hop finish. 6% abv.

Tap at the pub. Pours a very pretty amber orange, clear with a light white head. Aroma is malty sweet, some Belgian fruit and sugar. Flavor is roasted malts, sweet flavors and dark caramel chocolate. Sweet finish. Nice!

On tap at the brewpub. The beer pours an orange-red color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the candy sugar with some Belgian yeast notes as well as some toffee malt. The flavor is a mix of caramel and toffee with some yeast notes. I also get some sweetness from the candy sugar as well as a little bit of chocolate. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Cloudy amber, smallish white head. Grainy aroma. Pretty light.malty, but a clear presence of hops. A drinkanle amber, as most are not. Could serve as dinner if you’re really hungry.

5 oz. sample at the joint- served a faint maroon color, very light aroma of candi sugar, yeast, and caramel malt. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt tastes very restrained even for this style, middle is very indistinguishable, finish has some sweetness from candi sugar along with a small amount of yeast. Not impressed.
