Huge thanks to the bottle from Mora2000! Poured a dark brown, with a tan head. Sweet malts, cocoa, boozy, oak, very complex. Medium-high carb, think body. New top 10 beer? I think so

Bottle from the brewpub. Black with a tan head. Aroma is full of chocolate and roasted malt, with not too much else going on. Flavor is chocolate, light ash, light soy sauce, maple, oak and light whiskey. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice imperial stout.

Sweet candyand licorice are the.dominant flavors I get. molasse and rich coffee malt are the dominant flavors. it has a nice short fizzle on the palate and is a little refreshing because of that in spite of how heavy of a beer this is. it seems to have a little wild yeast (belgian) character as well.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark pour with little to no head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, and molasses. Taste is big chocolate, dark fruit, a little booze, and a roasty finish.
