3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a gorgeous black with an off white head that lasts forever from tap at the brewery. Aroma is malty, roasted smells with some bourbon. Mouth feel is surprisingly thin and very lightly carbonated. Taste is delicious. Chocolate, sweet, malts, the barrel, and a little nuttiness all blending together really nicely.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sweet candyand licorice are the.dominant flavors I get. molasse and rich coffee malt are the dominant flavors. it has a nice short fizzle on the palate and is a little refreshing because of that in spite of how heavy of a beer this is. it seems to have a little wild yeast (belgian) character as well.
