A golden ale fermented with Belgian yeast, Rover is made with oodles of local wildflower honey added in the fermenter. The honey gives Rover a light and crisp body with a dry and floral finish. Named for the enigmatic enforcement tool in The Prisoner, watch out because Rover’s gonna get you!

Intense belgian and honey aroma. Pours a dark gold from tap with a tiny bit of head. Taste is pretty Esther forward. A little intense but it mellows quickly into a sweetness. Some spice lingers towards the end. Can taste a little alcohol warmth. Thin body.

Hazy golden pour with virtually no head. Fair amount of Belgian yeast funk. Sweet but not particularly honey-ish to me.

Hazy golden color with a white head. Musty malt aroma. A little danky. Belgian yeast flavor with a lot of vanilla. Very lively on the palate. Very malty finish. Full flavor and thick.

On tap at the brewpub. The beer pours an orange-gold color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the candy sugar with some oranges. I also get an aroma that smells a little bit like circus peanuts. The flavor is heavy on the Belgian yeast, candy sugar, orange citrus and quite a bit of alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
