On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear earthy orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of pine, backed by notes of grapefruit, resin and rye. Flavor starts with a bit of rye but is quickly taken over by pine hops with some resin coming out in the finish.

On tap) Pour is amber, with thin white head.. Nose is hops, citrus , malts, rye..Taste is Pine, pineapple, malts, fruits. Palate is dry and smooth

On tap at Black Star. Clear amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. Aroma and flavors of Floral, rye, light caramel and pine. Nice and clean IPA.

Deep amber/orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Resiny hops dominate. Flavor of perfumy/resiny hops, bready, and sweet malt. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Well balanced and pretty good.

(Draught) Pours a clear orange body with a spare white head. Aroma of caramel, orange, pine, and toffee. Flavor of orange, rye, earth, caramel, and grass.

GABF 2011. Clear reddish gold. Big hoppy aroma of citrus and floral hops, some grapefruit, but also of malty rye bread and soft caramel. Balanced, really hoppy but really malty, with just a bit too much bitterness. Hop tone was floral and citric with a calm but sturdy toffee tone. Finishes with an acidic bitterness. Kinda average.

(draught) clear deep amber, ring of white bubbles. Nose of onion, sweet citrus, syrupy like a 90 minute, very fresh. Taste caramel, fresh and hoppy, very flavorful, spicy, rye, excellent.

The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the caramel and toffee with some pine notes mixed in. The beer definitely smells like an American IPA. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of grapefruit and resin notes as well as some bready malt and a little bit of toffee. Low to medium bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

pour is clear orangey amber thin tan head...smell is strongly hoppy with grapefruit and resin...taste is well rounded with some resin and grapefruit up front, then toasted bread, then bitterness....

Cloudy amber, large white head. Straigjt up resinous hop aroma. Flavor is a little bland. Probably nugget hops. Smooth palate taperimg to bitter and bland. Creamy finish.
