Pours brown with a thin tan head. Coffee and chocolate notes. Semi-light body with a creamy mouthfeel.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours an opaque, dark coffee brown with a finger of frothy tan head. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts, earth, dark fruits, chocolate, and wet leaves. The flavor has even more leaves and dark fruits, with a lot of earthiness and all of that overpowers the roast a bit. Light-medium bodied, with a juicy, earthy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Something is just off in this- shouldn’t be getting ripened fruit in a porter.

tap at the brewpub - Pours very dark brown with a lingering tan head. It smells of roast coffee. The flavor is similar with straightforward dark roast malt accompanied by coffee notes. It doesn’t taste as sweet as the cream stout. This medium bodied brew is pretty good.
