Pours a dark brown with nearly no head. Big bourbon nose. Prickly carbonation and moderately astringent. Sorghum, coffee, bourbon, caramel, and oak flavors. Best beer I’ve had from P-cola Bay by far.

I had this written down as Whiskey Porter. Poured from draft at Pensacola Bay Brewery two weeks ago, rating from notes now. Black with brown foamy head. Smells like a shot of whiskey. Super sweet taste. Whiskey strong taste, but not offensive. Raisin and prune notes. Interesting brew.

Tap sample. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted sweet chocolate malt, whiskey wood aroma. Medium to full body and smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy whiskey sweet flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This beer exceeded my expectations.
