Sampled cask conditioned. Amber coloured. Neutral nose. Fruity, remarkably light bodied, medium sweetness, fruity. Some bitterness in the finish. Not an attention grabber.

Cask-conditioned at Colston’s Yard, Bristol 16/05/09. Deep amber with a slight, white head. Orange fruit and caramel aroma, with a touch of earthiness. Flavour started with sweet malts, more fruit, leafy hops and a decent bitter finish. Good.

StueyD (661) - Heacham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2007
A reddish, copper coloured beer with a weak white head. Zesty, citrus fruit nose, a little like that is a Sauvignon Blanc, with a hint of hop. The taste is light, and dry, a little malty, then the zesty lemony, white wine flavour comes through to a crisp, citrusy finish. (Cask - The Ouse Amateur Sailing Club, King’s Lynn, Norfolk).

Very nice, a little sweet, not really a bitter but nice in aroma. A little dark, and bubbling foam.

Cask Conditioned, at the Market Porter, London.
Crimson body with fruity, sweet nose. Colourful and lively, it delivers sweet excitement on a lively Friday night at the porter.
