Cask @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear light orange color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate hoppy, flowers, fruit, light malty, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light metalic.

Hazy deep blond color. Delicate, grassy and earthy aroma, malt too; light but very nice. Dry caramel flavor, with a quite strong bitterness. Pleasant.

gravi @ ealing bf 08. aromas of old cowbarn and wet clover hay. slightly hazy amber. Tastes of metal, grass sweet malt, and dry hop. quite liked that one.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornish beer festival, The Star, Bath 19/7/08. Amber with a decent off-white head. Sweet, slightly grainy aroma with some red fruit and grassy hops. Flavour began with a touch of caramel before floral hops took over, leading to a decent, bitter finish. Easy drinking for the strength. Good.

Cask at GBBF 2007. An amber beer with a rocky light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty and fruity, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of fruit, as well as some flowers and hops and hints of bisquits. The finish is dry and bitter.

Light amber ale with a solid white cover that lasts. Quite toasty, grainy and bready nose focused on malts and hiding a certain spiciness. Surprisingly not very flavourful in mouth. The aroma’s hints are met again, but little else happens and the dry sandy finish cleans up everything only too swiftly.

Cask@GBBF2007. Deep golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is cookies, wood, something caramellishlike and a bit of grass. Flavour is really wooden sourness along with bitterness and saltwater. Some minor bready and mouldy hints in the flavour also.

Aroma is reaonably fruity, though could do with some more hops. Taste is a bit sweet a bit unbalanced.

1. Cask Stillage at the Boundary, Audenshaw 15/06/2002 Golden amber coloured hoppy and malty. Some dryness in the finish. 2. Cask Handpump at the London Inn, Torquay (JDW) 16/06/2003 Golden amber coloured hoppy and slightly bitter. Creamy malt finish.
