COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
A refreshing copper coloured bitter brewed in the traditional English style. Fresh floral aroma of Progress hops with a good balance of malt flavour. Its real quality is to be both thirst quenching and full flavoured. A beer for all seasons.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornish beer festival, The Star, Bath 19/7/08. Copper coloured with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish red fruit and caramel aroma. Flavour began with a hint of plenty of fruity malt, before a slight graininess and earthy hop finish. Very easy drinking.

Aroma is seriously minimal. Taste is reasonably balanced but a bit thin, some grassy hops, some toffee malts.

Has got a nutty off taste that is not to my liking. Some caramell and toffee are present, but missing in bitterness.

Cask Conditioned, at the Market Porter, London.
Golden body with an attractive volumous white head. Decent bitter but wouldn’t standout in line up.

Cask handpull at Borough Market. Ruby brown colour, no head. Eggy yeast aromas, some apple and brown sugar. Disappointing beer

Cask Fresh @ Crown & Thistle, Gravesend - a Freehouse. Splendidly fresh and hoppy session bitter with a nice sweetness cut through with a touch of acidic fruit. I'm not a fan of session bitters, but this packs a big flavour punch, has a decent sweetness, and is surprisingly firm bodied for a 3.8% beer. Tasty!
