Cask at Pig’s Ear Beer Festival, London. Clear mahogany colour. Salty and spicy with light-medium body. Soft and gentle with toffee and caramel. Slight spicy bitterness.

Cask at Pigs Ear. Clear brown beer, no real head. Okay toffee malt. Dry palate. Decent, but dry, marmalade hops. Well balanced. Dry finish. Touch of bubblegum ester.

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2011. Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, toffee, some mild herbal and nutty notes as well. Flavour is mild liquorice, some wood, sweet caramel malts and toffee as well. Balanced and quite pleasant and easy drinking bitter.
