For Johnnie Taylor, the son of Tommy Taylor along with business partner Kenny O’Hara opening their new Brewery at Blackbeck feels like something of a tradition and their first production has been given the aptly name of Trial Run.

Cask Stillage at Nottingham Castle, Nottingham 09/10/2009 Malty aroma. Clear golden coloured and pale with a lager hop flavour. A little dryness in a crisp malt finish.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2011. Pours a golden color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with hints of citrus. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish.
