Fruit/malty aroma. Ruby color, not much head. I felt this could be a nice complex beer, but the flavors didn’t blend well and formed a confusing taste; flavors competed vs blended.

Growler from the tavern, thanks Dave! Usually not a fan of Opa’s stuff, but this one wasn’t too bad. Interesting cross between blackberry and a softer brown ale. Good color and appearance, and while the nose wasn’t much, the palate wasn’t offensive. Smooth easy drinking, a little tartness from the blackberry, but on a crisp cool day it worked like magic. First beer in the long night of drinking.
