COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is our version of the American Amber Ale style, and is amber in color (of course), medium bodied, with toasty malt flavors, and a subtle hop finish. This beer is brewed from Montana-grown and malted Metcalfe 2-row barley, two kinds of English crystal malts and just a hint of torrifed (toasted) wheat, and is lightly hopped with Magnum and British East Kent Goldings. Easy drinking yet always satisfying.

Pours clear ruby amber with a thin beige head. Aroma of mild toast, caramel and floral hops. Taste is nicely hopped but with not much bitterness, very floral, bready malts, smooth texture, soft carbonation. Very refreshing and easy drinking.

On tap @ the pizza place in Whitefish. Deep dark golden amber with a pillowy white head thatleaves thick rings of lace. Aroma and palate are equal parts toasty malt and fruity hops with a medium bitter finish. A nicely flavorful amber that would make a great session ale.

Pours a bright amber color. Aromas of caramel, malt, and berry. Flavor has a touch of roast coffee taste, some caramel/toffee, and a nice hop finish.

On-tap at Mackenzie River Brewing Co. in Whitefish, MT. Poured with a very small, off-white head, and a clear, dark-amber body. Aroma of light malt. Not too much carbonation, with a medium-bodied, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is initially malty, but finished slightly bitter. An interesting, if not fantastic amber.
