May 16, 2008 Copper and sweet-smelling in the glass. Plenty of lacing and hop aromas tell you that you are into something good. Like a good scotch ale, there is a peaty undertone that really makes you notice the malts and the care and attention that goes into the beermaking. Not enough hops to carry the day and a sweet finish that lacks bitterness and character send the drinker into the realm of what coulda been....

May 19, 2007 Dark copper pour with very small off-white head. Light nose of sweet malt and some smoke. Flavor has a little hop up front which is followed by a light smoke with malty finish.
