Dover White Cliffs Fest 2011. A dark bitter with a bitter flavour. Not interesting, and not entirely pleasant, but drinkable enough.

11th September 2009 Cask at Chapel Beer Festival. Hazy dark brown beer. Light tan suddy head. Semi dry palate. Bitterish dark toffee with apple flavours. Feels strong! Finishes dry with more bitter toffee in the aftertaste.

Cask at Red Lion, Cromer, Norfolk. A deep brown/black coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Roasty, malty aroma. Tastes malty, roasty, dark fruit, rich. Pleasant enough.

Gravicask (Cambridge Winter Ale Festival 2010)
Watery beef aroma. Very dark brown. Taste definitely meaty. OK, that’s a flaw, but there’s something still quite tasty about this. And way better than the clove monstrosity earlier in the day.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 11, 2011
Cask (gravity dispense). Beer #12 at Cambridge Winter Beer Festival on 21 January 2011. Deep red/brown colour. Some toasty, slightly burnt malt on the nose. Dark and roasty on the palate. Fairly light mouthfeel. I found it more enjoyable than the spice-bomb Christmas version sampled a little earlier in the day but maybe a little short of impact. Somewhere between the two might be more appealing.
2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2009
Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 09. Green apple aroma, fruity in the mouth, maybe not fully brewed out, bit yeasty, bit unready. Poor.
