Aroma is sweetened Americano, chocolate syrup, light liquorice. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is dark chocolate, ashy burnt notes, quite rich with some floral hops, salty linger. Packs the flavour of an imperial stout into a smaller package. Very good stuff. Recommended.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle Coppers Newcastle. Pours deep inky black, with a tan head. Licquorice and roast malt in abundance, rich fruit flavour, with chocolate and licquorice notes. Expected a thicker body for this abv, but that doesn’t detract from a very high quality stout. Quite vineous late on.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Really good stout, the bottle has it as an imperial stout, which is more accurate.. Coffee and chocolate aromas, nice liquorice finish, if the abv was a couple of % higher, this would have a fuller mouthfeel, and be a world class beer.
