Rediscovered rating found on a scrap of paper. Some time in March 2004 (same time as Barnsley Bitter from the same brewery). Venue unknown. Not that pale. More like mid-amber. Fairly bitter, but tempered by plenty of juicy fruit. More on the palate than in the aroma. A decently balanced best bitter. After going bust for the sixth time it looks like we have finally seen the last of the Barnsley/Blackpool set up as the kit was sold to Acorn.

Cask at Head of Steam, Liverpool Mid brown hoppy, matly flavour leads to dry hop finish. Great balance of fruity malt and dry hoppiness. First Blackpool beer I have tried and I was impressed

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Called BPA. Amber, bright and in wonderful condition, with a foaming white head. Hoppy fruity aroma but slightly maltier then others. Fruity, hoppy flavour that many things but mostly refreshing and charming.

Dark amber; fruity, lots of hops, honeydew, guava...nice stuff. Sampled at the Ship & Mitre, Liverpool.
