Had this beer on Tap at Blackrocks in Marquette. One of the best IPA's I have ever had. Pours a orangeish color with a white head that laces nicely down the glass. Very fruity taste and smell. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(can - 12 oz) Clear gold with a puffy white head. Floral and herbal hops in the nose with some light caramel malts. Smooth malt at the start with a flowery hop middle. Very smooth and well balanced finish. [9/11/15]

Can. Golden pour with a fluffy off white head. Citrusy hop aromas. The taste follows suit with some mineral notes. Straight forward with bitter hop notes that are held in check by the malt backbeats. Average body and mouthfeel.

Wow, really impressive IPA from a brewery I hardly knew of. Leans more toward the sweeter IPAs with notes of oranges, caramel, grapefruit and citrus peel. Solid hop bitterness balances the sweetness. Hints of sweet grains.

[7332-20150704] Tap. Fruity citrus hops aroma. Slightly hazy, orange body with a huge foamy off-white head and some lacing. Bitter orange citrus hops flavour has a nice fruity finish. Medium body has a nice bitter green bite. Tasty. (8/4/8/4/16) 4.0

Overheard: "How do you know itís a boy?" "When you look at the sonogram, you can see the little toque."

Poured from an undated can. Aroma is fairly hoppy, but with a fairly traditional grapefruit and pine resin character. Some light dank notes as well. Light, pale, cracker malt notes with a hint of honey and alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, orangish gold with a large, fairly thick and frothy, white head that exhibits nice retention as it slowly recedes. Moderately high lacing with medium small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with some cracker malt notes and hints of honey and caramel. Medium high bitterness with a touch of alcohol. Fairly hoppy with some grapefruit and orange. Lighter resin and dank notes with hints of tropical fruit. Some light lingering sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer with a better flavor than aroma. A bit simple, but clean though the water may have been a bit too acidic. Decent hop notes and slight oxidation.
