Purchased at Siciliano's Market in Grand Rapids, MI; enjoyed at home still recovering from a half marathon while icing a foot. Appearance is cola brown with a moderate white head. Aroma of coconut, chocolate, and caramel, smells great. Taste is very good, not too sweet, coconut shines through, not really bitter, caramel notes as well. Its a desserty beer without being decadent. Well done.

Picked up six-pack from Ridgeview Liquors in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear amber brown colored brew with a nice off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, a hint of toffee, floral hops and a touch of chocolate. Taste is medium bodied with more coconut and light chocolate/caramel flavors than detected in aroma. Coconut is not overpowering in flavor and finish. Finish is semi-sweet with a vanilla, coconut and chocolate aftertaste that slowly disappears. A pleasant surprise and could be a favorite specialty brown ale to compare all others to. Nicely done.

Dark brown with off white head. Thick texture. Aroma is good but not very strong. Taste quite a bit like a light scotish ale. Recommend trying if you like brown ales.

Can. Aroma is very nutty with some light coconut and cocoa. Tastes great. Big coconut and nuts, light cocoa, some dark bread, and light coffee. Smooth and easy to drink. Definitely one of the better brown ales I’ve had. Looking forward to more beers from these guys.

12 oz can thanks to willrunforbeer, deep brown color, good amount of head. Aroma is roasted nuts and mild coconut.

Flavor shows a substantial amount of coconut with hints of chocolate and toasted nuts. Medium body that maybe a tad on the full side. The bold coconut surprised me on this brew. Very nice implementation of the coconut. For the style this rocks!

Pours a brown color with a foamy tan head. Aroma is subtle coconut, chocolate, and caramel. Flavor is sweet coconut, caramel, and chocolate. Delicious. This company is growing on me.

Can. Poured dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate toasted coconut and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted coconut sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good complex brew.
