3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Amber beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly hopped, and the flavour is very well hopped with a thick floral finish. Overall a nice American pale ale.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2014 Bottle at home from the brewery
slightly hazy burnished gold with lacing of white head. Mango pith and dusty lemons and some cattiness on the nose. Medium carbonation, digestive biscuit malt, citrus pith and slight mango with dry bitterness and lemon shortcake finish. Almost spot on, a little less carbonation and it’d be killer. One of the best Irish pales.
Keg at brewery and Folkhouse
Some fried onions and really dank hops on nose (centennial dry hop?) but that dissipates. Really fresh, carbonation lower than in bottle form so really spot on. Need more!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught. Hazy orange with a firm white head. Aroma is orange and grapefruit. Flavour is fruity bitter hop, grainy lingering dry bitterness. Good beer but a bit overpriced.

Bottle, amber-gold, peppery hoppy nose with touches of dry grass and grapefruit, medium bodied with a a drying bitterness over juicy golden malt. Clean and crisp, with a long very dry grapefruit bitter finish. Very fine APA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Drinkstore
Golden, clear, big frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of citrus zest, grapefruit zest, lots of citrus hops, sweet pale malts background
Taste of bitter zest hops, citrus zest, some grassy hops, plenty of hops in this, soft sweet pale malt background, not as fruity as aroma
Palate - soft carb, bitter zest palate, light sweet malt background. Finish as main flavour, long lingering considerably bitter zest
Overall - Decent Pale Ale, but taste not quite as good as the excellent aroma, less fruity than expected

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Different label, same abv, Pours a clear amber into the pint glass, good sized white head that was gone fairly quick, no lacing. Lovely juicy and chewy hop aroma such as Sierra Nevada PA. Taste was slightly lacking in character and body, but still very nice session ale, flavors are not hard hitting but are there and are very balanced and appetizing.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle. Slight hazy, orange tinted gold. White head which fizzes away to nothing. Not much activity in the glass. Nose isn’t great, sugary notes, home brew like. Grain, some fruity hops. Flavour is better, dry, grapefruit bitterness. Robust body, fizzy carbonation. Finish is bittersweet with a touch of paper. Not sure about this bottle, will rerate. Disappointing.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
33cl bottle. Pours light gold/orange with thin white head. Aroma is very floral, with hints of sweet pineapple, mango, light citrus and a bit of straw. Taste gives plenty of citrus - a nice grapefruit and lime bite - with sweet pineapple, a touch of tangerine, light herbs. Fairly creamy malt character - biscuit and cake-dough with a bit of straw. Some light pine comes in near the finish with the herbal notes - lingers into the aftertaste. Tasty citric bitterness, but nothing overpowering. Clean and crisp. For a first brew from an Irish start-up, this is excellent - knocks most of the competition out of the ballpark.
