Blacksalt Hefeweizen | |||||||||||||
RATINGS: 2 MEAN: 3.15/5.0 WEIGHTED AVG: 2.85 ABV: -
COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION A turbid brew, the Hefeweizen has a very characteristic flavour that is produced by the interplay between the specialty yeast and the flavour contributions from the large portion of wheat in the brew’s grain bill. The flavours and aromatics are described as clove, banana, phenolic, sour, spicy and even bubblegum like. Because of the complexity of the yeast flavour, this beer is only mildly hopped.
